How did Play The OT Way begin?
I was working in School Based OT and started making activities for my kids and the therapists I worked with. I wanted to share with Instagram and find other therapists to collaborate and share ideas with. I started making products and initially shared with my students and co-workers and eventually started sharing on Teachers Pay Teachers.
Why Play The OT Way?
I went through a few names before, Play The OT Way stuck. It came to me when I was talking to a colleague and said “Well no one plays like an OT does.” It was an ah-ha moment and that short statement I made jokingly is the corner stone of who I am as a therapist and business.
